The champions of the republic in walking for 3.000 m on the track are for 2018 in pupils Katka Nedvídková (2004) from AC Rumburk in 16: 17,63min and in pupils Adam Zajíček (2003) from Atletika Poruba in 15: 32,91min. 

The Czech Pupils' Championship took place this time in the north of Bohemia in Jablonec nad Nisou. Despite the cold and rainy weather, several Czech records in this category were set (2003-2005). Unfortunately, there was no record in walking this time.

Katka Nedvídková from AC Rumburk won gold in the pupils and at the same time the first nomination for the rep. We managed to make perfect use of the year-round training. Silver in the hall, gold outside a few seconds behind the person. The race was even in the second kilometer, then Katka accelerated and won! And one more reward - Katka will enjoy her first start in the Czech Republic in Hungary on September 29th! Ema Klimentová from AK Šternberk won second place and silver in 16: 34,01, when she was 17 seconds behind the winner. Amálie Mynářová from Slezan Frýdek-Místek finished with a big loss for the bronze medal in the time of 17: 39,03.

Adam Zajíček from Atletika Poruba won the title of Champion of the Republic and won the title of Champion of the Republic in 15: 32,91min, 17 seconds ahead of Jaromír Morávek (15: 49,99) from AC Moravská Slavia Brno and in another 12 seconds Kryštof Alexa (16: 02,67) from ACTepo Kladno.

Congratulations to all the medalists, and for those who haven't reached the medals this time, let them definitely work on making them ring around their necks next time! It's worth it!!!
