The attention of Czech athletics will shift to the Municipal Stadium in Vítkovice. This coming weekend (September 5 and 6), the Junior and Junior Republic Championships will take place here, which will be the main highlight of the season in the absence of international championships. Who can we look forward to in each category?

Puppy 5.000 m walk on the track

In the category of teenagers we find several names that deserve attention. First of all, it will be interesting how you do Jaromír Morávek (PITCH OF WALKING PRAGUE)who set a national record of a 5 km walk a month ago - 21: 46.26.and which is the main favorite of the whole race. An almost domestic racer could step on his heels a little Adam Zajíček (Athletics Poruba), who has also stepped on a very solid 22: 30.56 this year. 

Klára Hlaváčová (AC Tepo Kladno) is a clear main title candidate in the juniors. However, it has the largest representation Spartak Vrchlabí SMOLA KONSTRUKCE with very promising Tereza Pittnerová, which could try to win a place on the podium and further with Maria Dejmková and Denisa Brožková.

JUNIORS and JUNIORS 10.000m walk on the track

The main favorite for the title is clearly in the juniors Eliška Martínková (AC Turnov), which has this route trodden very well under 50min. The silver medal should become the prey of her divisional friend Jana Zikmundová, convincing winners from Vienna last weekend. According to paper assumptions, she should win the third place Michaela Baklíková (AK ŠKODA Pilsen).

In juniors with very weak competition (only 3 entries) it is clear that everyone will have a medal if one of them is not disqualified. It is very difficult to predict the order in which they will reach the finish line with unstable performance.

The championship starts on Saturday at 8:45 with a 5.000m walk on the track, followed by a 9m walk on the track at 25:10.000.
