Coronavirus (COVID-19) has also affected the world of walking. Race LUGANO TROPHY March 8, 2020 canceled !!! Are other planned plants at risk due to coronavirus?

Unfortunately, Coronavirus also affected the world of sports and therefore walking. The LUGANO TROPHY race, which was to take place on Sunday, March 8, 2020, has been canceled and will not take place in any alternative date this year.

CANCELATION OF THE COMPETITION LUGANO TROPHY 2020

Explanation of the cancellation of the LUGANO TROPHY 2020 plant:

In Switzerland, coronavirus (COVID-19) generally prohibits the organization of cultural and sporting events with more than 1.000 participants. Although the LUGANO TROPHY walking meeting is attended by a total of about 100 - 150 people every year, including organizers and technical facilities, ie far less than 1.000, the canton (district) of TICINO (where Lugano belongs) decided, due to international participation (among others competitors from China ....) that LUGANO TROPHY will not take place this year. And it is not considered to hold it at any alternative date in 2020.

Next on the program is the cancellation of the MA MASTERS in the hall in the Portuguese BRAZE (March 15-21, 2020), where there is a high probability of cancellation due to the large number of entrants from all over Europe.
