Thanks to Anežka Drahotová, one medal from the walking competitions from the World Summer Universiade in Europe will remain !!!

In tropical conditions, the pedestrian Anežka Drahotová had a successful premiere at the University World Championships in Naples, Italy, when she ran for a bronze medal on the 20-kilometer track. Only a pair of Australian rivals were beyond her strength. Coach Ivo Piták's trustee managed the track in 1:35:44. The race was clearly dominated by the Australians. Katie Hayward won the gold in 1:33:30. Her national team colleague Jemina Montagorá, who was 27 seconds slower (1:33:57), then climbed the silver podium. "The Australians were strong and ready for the heat. I'm glad I beat the Chinese racers. The time was not extra good. It was a terrible fight for me. " Drahotová let herself be heard in an interview for Czech Television.

Due to the fact that the Japanese took the first three places in the men's 20km race (we write about it in yesterday's article), thanks to Anežka Drahotová, only one medal from the walking competitions remained for Europe !!!

What will the Japanese show at this year's World Cup (end of September) in Doha, Qatar? And what about the home ground in Tokyo in 2020?
