podium 10151MČR 20KM WALKING WOMEN: Anežka Drahotová 1: 35: 43h defended the championship title and unequivocally confirmed the role of the Czech number one and constant of this discipline. However, a lot of unexpected things were happening behind her, and this significantly changes the ratio of forces in the position of the Czech two and three on the women's 20km walk. The silver medal was confirmed by Veronika Janoštíková 1: 49: 08h the legitimacy of the nomination to the national team for the interstate match and thus repaid the trust that national team coach Ivo Piták gave her. At the same time, however, she surprised with a personal record and showed a big improvement under 1: 50h. Now just don't rest on your laurels and continue working, the 1: 40h limit shouldn't be a problem for Veronika, who is only twenty, in the near future ..... But big things also happened in the fight for the bronze medal, because she unexpectedly won her walking beginner Štěpánka Pohlová-Kučerová in the personal maximum 1: 56: 30h and thus pushed last year's medalists Lenka Borovičková and Naďa Dušková out of the medal standings. The fourth in a row Naďa Dušková improved her personal maximum to 1: 57: 57h and was the last to conquer the magical 2-hour frontier. Lenka Borovickova 2: 01: 58h she didn't have her day, she was worried from the beginning and no one would be surprised if she gave up the race. However, Lenka did not give up, for which she deserves great recognition, and she fought the race to the finish line as the fifth in the Czech Championship, just before the sixth Martina Netolicka 2: 02: 32h, which was missing at the end of only 100m to conquer the fifth place. This also testifies to this time a very dramatic fight in the women's championship race. They also fought for the fifth place !!!

podium 10261MČR 20KM WALKING MEN: Lukáš Gdula 1: 27: 14, as well as Anežka Drahotová in women, unequivocally confirmed her role as the favorite and defended her last year's championship title, in addition he won his second Czech title this year in 14 days, after a recent triumph in the 50km championship race in Dudince, Slovakia. Admirable! Bravo! Silver bar won by Vít Hlaváč 1: 28: 56h in a new personal maximum and with a huge lead over third in the order Tomáš Hlavenka 1: 33: 49h, Both Hlaváč and Hlavenka improved their personal maxims and both of them, as well as Lukáš Gdula, 14 days ago successfully fought for titles in the Czech Championships in the 50km walk !!!, only this time Hlaváč and Hlavenka exchanged the order. It can therefore be said that Hlavenka and Hlaváč compete for the current position of the Czech pedestrian two, while it is necessary to emphasize that Hlavenka is 20 years older !! Clash of generations !! Were it not for Gdula and Hlaváč, the other young people were disappointed. This is especially true of Vojtěch Libnar and also of Alexander Malys, who represented in the international match and unfortunately did not fulfill the confidence of the national team coach this time, because another veteran got in front of him. fourth in the overall standings Martin Nedvídek in a new personal record 1: 35: 35h, even though Martin is not a veteran, he is a recent 10km Masters World Champion from Torun, Poland !!!  The fifth Alexander Malysa 1: 37: 03h came in fifth, who also improved his personal maximum and sixth in the ranking Rostislav Kolář also improved his personal record to 1: 41: 04h a Vojtěch Libnar 1: 42: 34h came in seventh place. In other places in the order, only the veterans themselves came, and that eighth place Josef Smola 1: 48: 51h, in ninth place returned Hubert Sonnek 1: 55: 02h and in tenth place Tomáš Vojtíšek 1:55:57, who also improved his personal record. Karel Ketner, who did not finish and gave up the race, finished in the last eleventh place in the Czech Championship.
